Houses of Rest, Refuge and Peace

Our lives have become a beth shaun and shalom: a house of rest and refuge, a house of peace (nothing lacking). As believers, our lives, our everyday, mundane lives can be places of refuge, rest and peace for a weary and worried world. We have become a "thin place". This is a term the ancients used to describe a particular location where heaven and earth seemed closer together. Where the presence of God was tangibly felt; even by unbelievers. The reality is, we carry this presence of God wherever we find ourselves because he lives inside of us.

Through the blood of Jesus, we have become a "thin place".  We can actually exude the manifest presence and peace of Christ everywhere in the earth we place our feet. ("They spread everywhere the aroma of the fragrance of Christ”) Demons will manifest when we encounter them just because they "smell" Jesus. Like the apostle, Peter, our shadow has become the very shadow of Christ, the healer. Everything we put our hand to has the handprint of God on it. Whether it's cleaning a toilet or writing a novel; cleaning up after a meal or expounding on the magnificence of our Abba-Daddy. The very touch of God is on our finances, our health and our emotional and mental well being. We are a blessing in the earth and are fully able bring His Kingdom to bear on it. The only thing standing in our way is whether we believe this or not.
